Patient Profile:
Deep overbite of the anterior teeth, limited occlusal function; narrow dental arch, crowded dentition. Despite diligent brushing of the lower front teeth, new dental calculus always forms quickly. Seeking treatment and correction. Through clear aligner treatment, the deep overbite of the anterior teeth was corrected, and the occlusal function of the front teeth was significantly improved; the dental arch was restored to a perfect “ovoid shape,” the teeth are neatly aligned, and the smile line is more aesthetic when smiling from the front. The aligned lower front teeth are easier to brush clean, effectively reducing the incidence of dental calculus.

Treatment Plan:
Upon examination, the patient's most prominent issues were deep overbite of the anterior teeth and a narrow dental arch. The occlusal function of the front teeth was limited, and the lingual inclination of the lower front teeth affected the washing function of saliva; misaligned teeth allow food debris to accumulate in corners, making them prone to developing dental calculus. Orthodontic plan: Clear aligner treatment is used to establish a normal “incisal guidance” by intruding the upper front teeth, resolving the deep overbite of the anterior teeth; expand the dental arch to resolve dentition crowding; the patient's narrow dental arch caused arch crowding.

Treatment Results:

After the treatment, the deep overbite of the anterior teeth was corrected, and the occlusal function of the front teeth was significantly improved; the dental arch was restored to a perfect “ovoid shape,” the teeth are neatly aligned, and the smile line is more aesthetic when smiling from the front. The aligned lower front teeth are easier to brush clean, effectively reducing the incidence of dental calculus.
