Patient's Chief Complaint:

The patient felt that her smile line was unnatural and unattractive when laughing, and friends often noticed her two flared front teeth. She also felt fatigued when chewing large pieces of food during meals.

Treatment Plan:

Upon examination, the patient's anterior teeth were abnormally positioned, and the smile line was tilted and uneven. The maxillary arch was too narrow compared to the mandibular arch, resulting in a shallow overjet in the posterior region and a failure to reach maximum intercuspation during chewing. Orthodontic plan: Use clear aligners to expand the maxillary arch to resolve dental crowding and the shallow posterior overjet, while adjusting the anterior frontal smile line.

Treatment Results:

The frontal smile arc is now aligned with the lower lip curve. The flared front teeth have been corrected, making the smile more natural and soft. The occlusion and overjet of the posterior teeth have also achieved tight interdigitation, significantly improving chewing efficiency and promoting better coordination between the muscles and occlusion.
