The upper right front tooth was fractured by trauma, involving the root, causing severe pain. Treatment was sought.
 

Treatment Plan:

Tooth 12: Minimally invasive extraction followed by bone grafting to increase bone volume, and immediate placement of an implant. A temporary tooth was bonded for transition. The permanent porcelain crown was fitted 3 months later.
 

Advantages of the Plan:

Bone grafting after extraction + immediate implant placement allows multiple procedures to be completed in one visit. This is not only highly efficient but also significantly reduces the risk of alveolar bone wall resorption after extraction, helping to achieve a good aesthetic outcome for the anterior teeth. The use of a temporary tooth for transition prevents social embarrassment. Imported all-ceramic crowns are lifelike, natural, biocompatible, and more durable. At the 11-year follow-up, the implant was stable and the periodontal health was good.
