Six-year follow-up of full-mouth dental implants: as stable as ever, with healthy periodontal tissue

Patient's Chief Complaint:
Severe periodontal disease led to loose teeth throughout the entire mouth and weak chewing ability, seriously affecting eating habits and aesthetic appearance, making the patient afraid to laugh out loud. The patient hoped to complete dental implants as soon as possible to restore normal chewing function and improve their image.

Treatment Plan:
After extracting all loose teeth, 6 artificial implants were immediately placed in the upper jaw, and 4 artificial implants were immediately placed in the lower jaw, with a temporary fixed bridge fitted on the same day; after 3 months, it was replaced with a permanent fixed bridge.

Advantages of the Plan:
The fixed bridge does not loosen during daily chewing; immediate implant placement after tooth extraction, completing two procedures in one surgery; immediate teeth loading after implantation, avoiding the embarrassment of toothlessness; maximizing the use of existing bone volume to avoid bone grafting surgery.

6-Year Follow-up:
